WILLOW: F Q-C

Willow is Will and Jada Pinkett Smiths daughter. She is creative, inspired, and creates pop forward music. Willow is known for her hit "Whip my hair", and since that time, she has grown as an artist, and her work speaks to this growth.

She is still pop star, and still has some bubble gum hits with pop heavyweights, it is her other work that interests me, as it reminds me of another artist. In Willows newest hit, F Q-C is drum heavy, and poetic. It's as though she picked up where Saul Williams has left off, infusing her music with conscious lyrics, tribal and urban imagery,  as well as interesting point of view.

WE ARE ALL CO-CREATORS

We are all co-creators.
Of this art. Of this culture. Of this great fabric that is creation.
This great creation process, of fabrication.
We are the thrumming, vibrating, glowing, dark, sharp, cold, warm, messy, perfect, controversial, and beautiful creators of things.
Music, Sculptures, Paintings, Murals, Stages, Plays, Dances.
When poets poem
When musicians music
When dancers dance
And painters paint
We are all co-creators.
Contribute your creations!
Art is a real job.
Your creations are worth something to someone somewhere.
Your creations are worth everything to the world.
Don't fear creation.
You are creation.
So create.
Co-Create.
